Oh oh Christine Christine, where do I start ?
First, I want express how deeply grateful I am for this opportunity to share my appreciation for you. You are one of the most compassionate and caring individuals who is literally like a second mother to me.
Second, a big hug (will make this up to you) and a big thank you!
Christine’s empathy and understanding for her students are unparalleled. She has this remarkable ability to give advice. She also has a special way to make the truth more pleasant and much more acceptable (ya we all hate the truth). She makes me feel safe and encouraged with her words no matter how stressful the situation. She also offers her support unconditionally, always putting her students before herself because she sees us as her own.
Now that I am moving onto the next chapter of life, graduate school, I look back at my journey with Christine. Christine was there for me through all the ups and downs. I still remember that closing line from my SOP for undergrad: “the shouting and screaming fall on deaf ears and in that moment, all you know, all you truly know, is that once the dust settles, all that will be left is you.”
Thank you for always embracing who I am. You are just awesome and I love you so so much! Can not wait for more food, coffee and cocktail adventures with ya!
PS: More pictures of Fatty!
