Parent Testimonial
Student: Snigdha S. (CalTech)

As parents, we always have dreams for our children.  I am sure that my parents had some grand dreams around me. Whatever we could not achieve as individuals, we would like our children to achieve and more. What we try to do as parents is to provide a platform for our children so that they can utilize all the opportunities that they have around them. The bad part is sometimes we end up putting a lot of pressure on our children in the process that we do not acknowledge ourselves.

I also had a dream for my only daughter Snigdha. I was lucky that Snigdha believed in that dream as well; however, the journey was not that smooth until we met Christine in the 2nd semester of Snigdha’s sophomore year in High School.  Christine at that time was the branch manager of a professional preparatory institute, and I was venting my frustration on her for some unfulfilled promises that were made by the previous management.

From our first meeting, Christine played an avid listener role in our journey to success. Over time, she became part of our core team in the common journey that we undertook, and in keeping with her word, after she left the institution, she continued to commit herself to the success of all of her students, including Snigdha. Her greatest contribution to our family was that she was the perfect bridge between my daughter and me. She kept us honest, made us do reality checks, and helped shape our dreams into reality. She had pushed Snigdha in all the right areas so that she could unleash her full potential whether it was in SAT exams, writing Essays for college admission, or guidance on life in general. We could not have found a better coach than Christine.

Today, I am a proud parent of a CALTECH bound daughter and the journey would not have been so fulfilling without Christine as part of our team.

I wish Christine all the very best in her endeavors to shape the lives of future students and become their lifelong coach and friend.
